Sencha is Japan's most popular tea. It has a clean, light, vegetal taste. The leaf is steamed, dried and rolled. The resulting infusion is a pale, greenish yellow with a high Vitamin C content. Because of it's minimal processing, Sencha is high in polyphenols and chlorophyll. Our grade is also low in caffeine. Take it with meals to aid digestion and to lower your cholesterol Other health claims include cancer prevention,lowering blood pressure and immune system boosting .
Don't be fooled by imitations. Sencha-style tea is grown in various countries--ours comes directly from JAPAN and is fresh as we import directly.We only import premium grades.
