Chest 220 Green Tea from Japan
Invented in the Kyoto region in the early 20th century by a tea merchant. The recipe is simple - roasted Bancha. The larger leaves of the plant (that also produce Sencha) are roasted to yield an unusual yet world reknowned tea with a nutty flavor. Very low in caffeine and very soothing for the tummy. No astringency here. Great with meals.
Brewing tip: 1 tsp., 205-210o, 30 sec.-1 min.Tea can be re-used 3-4 times or until all flavor is used up.
